Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October.

This week, join us for a concert with the Teodross Avery Quartet.

Saxophonist, composer, educator and band leader Dr. Teodross Avery’s diverse career includes recordings with Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Matchbox Twenty. As a leader, he has released nine recordings and as a composer has written for the films Beauty Shop, Brown Sugar, and Love Jones. Since 2017, Teodross has served as the head of Jazz Studies at Cal State University Dominguez Hill.

Jazz at LACMA is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
